Fujifilm XT-1, aperture unk, ISO 800, 1/140, 35mm lens
I tried the flipped lens trick again, but I’m just not steady enough. This was the best of the pack, and it’s not all that great.
This Buck knife, a traditional 110 model, was the knife my dad carried on the job for at least 15 or 20 years. Once the more modern tactical and lighter knives hit the market, he switched it up. But not too long after that, he gave this one to me. It was well worn, yet still stout. I had heard that the warranty on a Buck was for the life of the knife. So I contacted Buck and asked about this knife. They said send it up!
And at no cost to me, other than the initial shipping, they restored the wood and brass ends, and either rehoned that blade, or replaced it. It’s definitely like new!
