I knew when I conceived this week’s theme that I’d want to capture one of our local old California missions. There are two quite close to me, and it was only a matter of scheduling the right time to stop by. My goal was a dusk shot, with light in the sky, maybe a blue hour shot, without people. Unfortunately, I was faced with the reality that the Mission Santa Ines is an active Catholic Church. This meant it was going to be quite difficult to get people free.
So what do you do? Embrace the situation! The ghosting ended up giving me a nice reference to a living active church body. And I like it!
