It looks like the majority of Americans have decided that it’s worth the risk, and they’ve elected Lord Barry Obama to become our next President.
I watched Senator John McCain’s concession speech. Very classy and professional. I expected nothing less from him, a real American hero.
I must say, I am sad. I’m sad for our future. I’m sad for the hardworking Americans who will be working even harder now, to carry the load of those freeloaders, not contributing. I’m sad for the empty suits who really expect Lord Barry to accomplish all he promised. I’m sad for my Christian friends, who compromised their values and principles, for the facade that was flashed before them.
I’m not fearful, though. I have a hope, but I hope not in Lord Barry to deliver me. Nope, I’ve been delivered. I was delivered 22 years ago, when I accepted THE Lord, Jesus, as my Savior.
I have a hope that the Lord is still in control. The Lord will continue to protect and guide his elect.
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. [Romans 13:1]
There are times when I don’t understand what the Lord is doing. But, that does not change that God is still in control. If Chinese Christians can survive under the utmost of horrific conditions, I’m sure we’ll make it. If Christians persecuted in the Sudan can persevere, I’m sure we’ll make it. It might not be the America we’ve all known, but we’ll still be in God’s family.
So, with that said, let me sit down and watch Lord Barry tell how great it’s going to be. Hope for the Change.
