I’m totally bummed that I missed the opportunity to spread the news about tomorrow’s Silent Day. What is Silent Day? Well, it’s a day of protest, organized by students around the world. Basically, students participate in the protest, by taking a vow of silence for the day. What are they protesting? Abortion. They’re trying to raise awareness about the 50 million children whose voices have been silenced. They’re trying to remind their peers that there are more than the one-sided opinions constantly pressed upon them. There are students right next to them who value life.

They’ll show their participation by placing a red piece of duct tape over their mouth or wearign it on their arm. The goal is not confrontation, but a silent protest.
